PF Information and Publicity Chairperson Emmanuel Mwamba’s sureties, Musanzala Member of Parliament Elias Daka and Mufulira Central MP Golden Mwila, have been fined K50,000 each by Lusaka Magistrate Trevor Kasanda.
The fine must be paid immediately or they will be taken into custody.
This development is connected to Mwamba’s case, in which he is accused of assaulting a police officer, Detective Inspector Simwenda Steven, on June 14, 2023, in Lusaka.
Mwamba has repeatedly missed court sessions, prompting the court to issue a bench warrant against him.
